Seiichi Nakamura is the knife maker responsible for the Benchmade 484 Nakamura. He managed to provide an almost tactical feeling to a knife with perfect dimensions for daily use. This can be partially attributed to the large and rounded ridges in the G10-handle and the ridges on the blade. The solid feeling of the knife that runs mechanically perfect and the unshakable blocking with the axis-lock complete the picture.
The blade is made of the extremely hard M390-steel. Benchmade even calls it 'Super Steel'. With a Japanese designer you do not have to wonder about the sharpness of this knife. The 484 Nakamura is in a razor sharp condition when you unpack it from the box!
